![]() There is also a small exhibit about Tiffany glass and another small exhibit about the last two world' s fairs but primarily about collectibles. One large exhibit on India? Don't think that's very diverse. Diversity in Queens means Indian and Chinese and Dominican and Nepalese and Italian and Greek etc etc. I asked the girl at the desk and she said its to promote diversity. Lots of painting and photographs and other things about India. The other half of the museum has a display about India. In the archives and not available to the public. The sign says that the walkway follows the route of the old helicopter ride (you remember that from the '64 fair) and it said that they had once of the helicopters used during the display on view. Oddly, there are video presentations around on the walls, but they have nothing to do with the Panorama. Still impressive but a big disappointment from what it was. The hall doesn't darken any longer and there is no narration. There are supposed to be lights to show municipal services-some 3000+. ![]() ![]() Surely the can find the money to put on some new stick on letters. The directional signs on the exhibit have the letters scratched off. Lots of famous landmarks are either not there or are still there. The NYC Panorama is still there.always a crowd pleaser and a memory from the World's fair. We were hoping to see a museum about Queens or Art from Queens. The admission fee is suggested at $8 and seniors at $4. Last time I was there there was still an ice skating rink. I haven't visited the Queens Museum in about 15 years.
